Long time lurker. I was wondering what people do after they reach CP early. Do they continue to accumulate points throughout the year, or do they try and match statuses at other airlines to get status there as well? Has anyone been successful matching CP status to any top tier statuses?
Normally a status match requires demonstrating actual flight activity history, not just accumulation of credit card points. The airlines are savvy enough to know that a CP does not automatically imply that you flew a lot.
