Can't book 2 one way online, won't allow stopover in YYZ for outbound on AC metal. Like
rankourabu mentioned, 2 one way is going to cost more points than I have available, 34k r/t vs 25k. Even if my 25k star challenge points post quickly, I still won't have enough for the family..

Its not as if your paying a ~1000 TATL YQ...
It's actually an additional $110 per person, 4 tix so an extra $450 to fly AC. Not a big deal, I'll just treat this $450 as a cost to have a stopover in YYZ. I'd prefer using UA on the way home so I can visit ORD for 10hrs instead of 5hrs in YUL/YYZ as layover.
