I'm traveling via UA Express from A-2, but ideally, I'd like to use TSA-pre from Terminal C. If I arrive at C around 9am on a Thursday morning, how long will it take to take the ramp bus from C-71 to A-28 (including waiting for the bus)?

Would the time negate the convenience of pre-check?
