I would say the best options would be:

- any long-haul J/F product
- HA F
- any normal domestic F


For AA, the only long-haul J/F product they send to HI is the 763. This is on all DFW/ORD flights and some LAX flights. A 763 will be much better than a 757. Whether it is worth flying to DFW just to get it is debatable. I would see if AA is flying any 763s from LAX when you fly, but keep in mind that a swap could occur at any time.
