Ah, yes, Kai Tak.
I have find memories of that airport, including being able to learn most of the plane tail liveries and ignoring the planes that flew overhead at what seemed like 1200 feet above me.
(The closest I've been under a moving aircraft was actually at YUL with an LH flight not very far away from the road by the runway.)
