Miles came back instantly when I cancelled.
My 5th and final redemption was roughly same timeframe (waiting to see cash in the bank), had to chase miles a couple of weeks ago though. I had been explicit in the comment box about what cash I'd paid, miles and cash booking etc

So, 1 out of 5 worked properly
4 required chasing for miles
2 require chasing for incorrect cash
1 requires chasing as no cash
