I'm a big fan of reward flight saver on European flights and have only ever redeemed with BA while I have had a gold card. I was looking at a few routes yesterday through my account and found availability pretty good. However when I looked at availability through another account I manage for my sister it was shockingly bad. I am very worried about dropping down to silver if the award availability is as bad as I have experienced recently. I guess seats open up but if wishing to make any advance plans using Avios it seems like you need to leave late at night if you want to go anywhere!
