as an excuse to upgrade to BA Gold.
I am currently silver, with 325 TP's. only need 75 to retain Silver
what would you guys recommend to be the easiest way to earn enough TP's to be upgraded to Gold. Ideally while i'm in the US. I will have a few days free before the rest of my family arrive, Which will allow me to go city/country hoping.
Ideal dates for this will be between 23rd and 26th May.

any advice as to which airlines, airports runs will get me close enough for gold. Silver will end in Sept.

Ken
You'll need 1,500 TPs for Gold if you're only benefitting from the lower Silver threshold for European members - that's a lot of TPs to make up.

Would try something like an ex-EU booking that goes
XXX-LON/LCY-JFK-LAS - that would get 40+210+210, so 920 return
Positioning flight to Europe gets another 10 or 40 if a decent POUG offer

In the US only American Airlines works, but LAS-SJU return can be had for about £475 - depending on your views you can go
LAS-MIA-SJU for 500 TPs return (more than enough for gold) with the outbound routing above, or
LAS-LAX-MIA-SJU for 620 TPs return
(LAS-DFW-SJU is only 400 return, but may have better timings)

However, timings of LCY-JFK flights not great for ex-EU I think, so could trade off lower TPs on that part of trip for the via LAX run to SJU (eg XXX-LHR-JFK-LAS)- that would be 40+140+210, so 390 outbound and 780 return. Even with a run to SJU via DFW you'd be over 1,500
