Fingers crossed it's fraud prevention and I'm panicking for nothing.
I've put $1450 in reloads and $1,000 in gift cards through Chase cards in the last two months, which seems rather small potatoes but you never know.

I think if they were to completely close off your access to your money that would get them in some hot waters a financial institution, but I'm no expert.
I'm very interested to know what happens. Not too sure why Chase would care about what we pay for as long as we pay, which is why Amex FR are always cleared for those that aren't lying about their income on apps.
CVS appears to the one that shut down VR, and put limits on GC purchases, OD did the same thing. It wasn't Chase or other credit card companies doing it...
