This doesn't sound like it. Can you log into any accounts? Normally Chase seems to just slam the door - limited or no notice, no report to a branch, no make one last deposit, etc.

This sounds like an issue with your debit card. Maybe an identity theft problem? Many years ago a friend of mine had to go to a branch with ID, SS card, debit card to deal with an identity theft issue. But this was in the late 1990's before most banking was online.
