I am not sure how much I will stay out of town within the next year. My guess is 15-30 nights but it will depend on client demand.

I like HHonors because I will be a silver upon this stay, and they have a promotion where you earn 1,000 bonus points per week night and 2,000 bonus points per weekend night. I imagine, I'd have enough for a reward stay after this one trip.

I like SPG because I think the lifetime reward nights is an excellent feature, although it may take a few years for me to earn elite status. Also, if for some reason my time out of town increases, it seems they treat their members better. And I do like the special offers that they email out. My family has a timeshare with them and I have always enjoyed that. Additionally, I know some people that work for their corporate office so it seems it be nice to support them.

Your thoughts on the two rewards program?
