What did it say on the BP under your name? That can indicate whether it was service recovery (likely) or a regular op-up. Quite conceivable if a low business day and an empty F cabin to fill that a normal Gold could get moved.
Also depends on the route. I'm a "normal" gold and I see a lot on here who never get an opup. I suspect I'm on a lot of routes that there is a smaller proportion of ggls. No finance centers for me.
