presumably the OP wants to fly SFO-HKG

it's going to be tougher to get 3 first class awards on that route than say 3 first class awards on JFK-HKG

in terms of tactics, it would have been better to use the AA miles for a J award and Avios and Asiamiles for the F awards, then if a third F award opened up, "upgrade" the AA J award to AA F for the difference in miles.

or, if the OP had lots of AA miles, just book AA instead of Asiamiles or Avios
