Those Y seats do look good from the website, akin to BAs W seats. Is that the upstairs cabin on the 747 that has 2 seats across? Clever stuff.

It's a big selling point for the average person -- you can travel as a couple without having someone sat next to you. I'm surprised BA didn't use photos from the 767 which I think is 2-3-2 in Y.

The W service on VS is better than BA according to colleagues that jave tried both. Welcome drinks for example.

I feel VS seem to be after the "fly once a year" brigade, rather than the frequent flyer.
