I don't think BA need to bother as one quick try of VS's product will leave you willing to try another option

I last flew VS Y in 2004, in a direct comparison to BA Y the year previous, they did not fare well and I have 'never flown with VS again' since that day

If happily try their W and J product, no amount of flashy marketing ........ will get me back into their Y cabin though!
