Monsieur La Perouse would be spinning in his grave because of what they did to the croissant and was part of the woeful 'cafe breakfast' which is fruit and/or ham and cheese croissant... and was just an example of a pig product on the menu and while it wasn't a breakfast staple in colonial times, it's reasonably common now

(although I prefer the traditional version)
