I took this flight recently and if I had a day to spare would do it again without hesitation... Due to it being a day flight, I had zero jetlag despite having been stateside for a week by then.

Boston Airport was empty, with no queues at check-in / security at 6:15am.

Food (in Y) was a 'brunch' (really breakfast) served soon after take-off and then a so-called snack (just a muffin) was served before landing.

Heathrow upon arrival was empty, with no queues at immigration on an EU passport - it was quicker to go to a human than iris then and baggage was prompt too.

Definitely recommend the day flight back across the pond!
