Yes, perceived unfairness. There is nothing stopping other US citizens from applying for TT status and getting the same benefits.
Unless you consider it unfair to have to pay $50 and submit to a background check?
Out of morbid curiosity, do you also think it is unfair to require a valid photo ID in order to vote?
