In addition, the advantages of letting the local office book my tickets are that they sometimes can offer a cheaper fare class, or slightly more expensive one for mileage accumulation. And also, sometimes they manage to grab a seat from those commonly greyed-out connecting flights displayed online.
Wow, that's so different than the CPH office. The office at CPH sucks - the staffs were there so little time and when the office was open, no one was there - because the staffs were out to smoke

when you call their office phone number - they redirect you to IST.
You can wait 72 hours before paying if you book online too, I just paid mine this morning.

So I always go to the local office to book the ticket instead. Faster, easier.
I, on the contrary, had very good experience with IST.
Schedule change - no problem, they sort it out and rebooked me. Just need to reissue the tickets at an airport office which I did at IST.
The ground staffs there were ok, nothing special, did their work and reissued my tickets without problem.
