P.D.B. = Personally, I don't drink alcohol nor soda pop. So, it's always water or OJ for me on a plane. That being said, it's not like a PDB of choice was NEVER available on PMUA--when I did drink, a PDB of choice was often available just for the asking. And since the merger, I've still seen the 'water/OJ only' option a couple of times, and more than once, no PDB at all from both PMCO and PMUA crews.

S.D.C. = Am yet to use it. I fly into an airport with three flights a day (on a significantly functionally-reduced schedule since the merger). I don't have a lot of options now. It would mean switching from a daytime flight to a redeye--that's about it. No thanks.

C.P.U. = Don't get me started. To me, that is the absolute worst thing to happen to those that valued an upgrade since the merger. My 'sitting in coach on a plane with more than one class' rate went from ~0% in the three years prior to CPU/UDU (1 missed upgrade in 3 years, and a much easier process to upgrade companions) to about 40% since 'complimentary' upgrades. Hate 'em and would love nothing more from UA than to go back to the old way. My stance on this is well documented in the 'UDU' original thread and most recently in the MM benefits thread...And many agree with me.

Everyone is different...I know. But certainly not hyperbole.

But again, love, love, love the PMCO J seat...I've flown it on the 767-400 and the 777 a few times. I'm sure I'd even love it on the 757. I do give credit where credit is due--I also kind of like DirecTV--not the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it's enjoyable on occasion, when it works and when it's on a plane that I'm on.
