JQ Domestic sometimes boards 40minutes before hand, yet still can't get the flightout on time
In my experience this weekend past AKL-ZQN-AKL - didn't make a lick of difference if it was a 320 or 733. In fact, the flight back on a 320 seemed to be a faster boarding vs the 73 on the way down.

Of course that might have had something to do with the fact that the flight down was at 710am and was chocker : )

Both flights were called early in the KC - about 25mins IIRC. And yup, twas no use, they were still doing paperwork at the scheduled departure time (akl-zqn).

BTW - experienced the renovated AKL KC on Saturday morning...what a let down - talk about a downgrade. Why did they think that anyone getting their rubber eggs in the morning wants to see the workings of their kitchen is anyone's guess....all for what, saving a short walk of a few staff....shocking. Whole area seems like a cheap fit out and step backwards....boo hiss AIRNZ
