Last week, I bought 2 DEN-YUL J class tickets on AC. Each OW ticket cost me 10,000 miles and $219 (for 15,000 miles, taxes and fees).
Compared to AC's $650 OW Y fare and their $2,200 OW J fare. Yeah, I'm sure they sell a lot of those.
Most people in NA flying J are using eUGs to get there (and at least their J is better than almost any US carrier other than transcontinental service)
If they allowed international UGs from lowest fare I would still fly them.
