Bags arriving domestically at GLA from a connecting international flight used to be collected off a baggage belt in a separate area next to the domestic arrivals baggage reclaim. There would always be customs officers eyeing you up suspiciously and I witnessed the odd passenger being pulled aside for questioning.
However their presence did become less and less over the years.
