Howdee -

Last week there were zillions of saver award flights available on Alaska Air. Alas, I had to wait for miles to post. Today I went to book my flight and all the saver awards were gone. I used the award calendar - zippo. I switched cities around - zippo. I'm trying to find out:

1. If there is a realistic chance Alaska will release new award seats on the East Coast - West Coast routes.

2. If there is an easy way to search a very flexible itinerary without me having to stalk Alaska's webpage every few hours.

Here are my details:

BOS - SJC (ideal) anytime between Aug. 6 - Aug. 8. However, I am very flexible in my departure city - PWM, EWR, JFK, LGA, IAD, DCA, BWI, and basically anywhere from SMX north. Heck - I'm quite happy to be routed to Anchorage and then back down to CA. Route me anywhere. The "only" requirement I have is that I end up CA by August 9 using 12,500 Alaska miles.

Ideas?
