The problem with Expedia or any other travel agency with air tickets is that if anything wrong and you need rebook, cancel, modify, change your flight, airline will not be very proactive to accommodate you, since you book it not though them. Most likely nothing will be wrong, but I am just saying.....

No problem with booking refundable hotels though expedia, booking, orbitz or whatever, I do it all the time. I do book hotels way in advance and re-book them later several times if the price has dropped. I also check hotwire and priceline closer to the trip date for the best rates.
Thanks
I did however told by someone if you buy airline tickets from where you did it like expedia well then thats where you also must check in online 24h before travel. But i thought maybe easier to just do it directly with the airline official website that im going. Because maybe expedia might have less funtionality for the so what check in online. I never try so dont no and if i check in online with expedia the whole thing may look diferent then if you did it with the official airline im going with website.

Since im going to a long haul brisbane to singapore with qantas. At singapore i catch the finnair to helsinki 5 hours later. From helsinki catch a skybe airline to berlin 2 hours later. So having all this being said when i check in starting from home will i be able to check in online all this at one go ? Will i get all tickets together ?

If not then why not i just check in online first with qantas... at least i have a qantas boarding pass ticket ready and then log onto finnair and at least i have finnair boarding pass tickets as well ? dunno about skybe but was told it be finnair as well part of finnair.

So not sure exactly where to check in. I would liek to have all boarding passes with me handy before i depart from home at least i dont end up going here and there to check in and so on.
