Airline tickets are not the same as cruise. You can get matching price on cruise pretty much all 14 month and get refund any time, it is not going to happen with nonrefundable air. I understand the idea to pay the ticket and get it over with, I usually do the same. Then the accrual expenses feel not as expensive basically.
When the air tickets first become available the airline is checking the price and see if anybody is willing to pay. You pay, and you locked in price. Then they lover the price when the demand is down, then they rise it again. The most expensive tickets are for tomorrow, if you need it that bad you will pay.
Hmm interesting. Yep i get your point about expedia there. I mean when i first desided lets see how expedia works. It seems to be ok so far. I was very skeptical about buying overseas airline tickets with expedia and that going overseas best to go to a flight centre. But this is my first time experience. Looks like its going ok so far. I mean allready paid tickets and no need to worry about it after os save up for it.

Also booking .com first time as well with hotel booking. This is all a new experience for me but was very skeptical but read what people said about expedia and such so i was convince i should go ahead and try it. So it seems to be ok. Just so long i wonder where am i suppose to check in online from home and when to print proper airline tickets from.

Since my route is finnair and only 1 from qantas. Should i be loging onto expedia for check in online 24hour before travel or do i have to log onto finnair to do this or qantas to do this? I mean i notice i was able to log into finnair and qantas with the same reference number by expedia website. reference code. So its alittle confusing there. Just dont no which one to actually check in on the day of travel. You would think that if im going to be with qantas first u log onto qantas website to do that and then log onto finnair to check in rather then expedia since expedia may not have the full funtionality as the official airline websites i think. What you reckon ?
