Snide remark? Example of a snide remark: Playing the victim eh?

I never used the word stupid. I never used the word misinformed. Nor did
I bait you into swimming in deep water. You chose to swim in the deep
water ... and gave advice that is simply negligent.

Commercially available, plug & play MITM boxes are available from Packet
Forensics and many others. Their target market is the Barney Fife's of the
world.

SSL Labs and GRC are to be commended for the tools that they provide
Joe Sixpack to check a few basics re: connections & websites' security
configs.

To date, I have found only one airport/concourse WiFi/WISP running a
MITM trap. I had plenty of time to spare and sought out LE. ~20 mins
later their Chief and their I/T guy arrived. They took notes. I wrote a
simple 1-page report. They shutdown the WiFi ... and were gonna have
chat with their local/small-fry WISP.

Next time thru that airport, a few months later, they were using a different
WISP.
