Yes, but wouldn't it be more worthwhile to use points earned on this card as opposed to the SW card or the ink cards? Say I'm able to do 6K of non-category spending. On the SW or ink cards, that comes out to $100, or approx $200 worth of flights with the CP. $6K of spending on the Arrival card gets you approx $264 of flights with the CP - about 32% more!

Well, unless you otherwise couldn't fly at all, having the companion pass doesn't change the value of the points. You get the free companion ticket whether you pay with points or cash.
