It will just show upon the x-ray as any other piece of electric consumer item, so just keep it from being lumped together with other heavier mass items (laptop brick for example) and you should be okay in a carry on.

Usual caveat about the predictable unpredictability of airport screening, but at most it would just need a secondary look by a screener.
