I think it's ironic that at YYZ, they insist on seeing your Nexus card, and make sure that it's not expired before they let you through, so you can stand in line behind a non-Nexus person.
I idly mentioned once, at YYZ, that I was running late (just making conversation, not seeking favours) and I got moved up in the NEXUS line ahead of all the non-NEXUS users who were in it. This was in November of 2011.
