Had a similar thing happen to me on BA0175 on Easter Sunday. Plane pulled away from the gateway but wouldn't move. A few restarts didn't help so the plane was towed to another stand. Two hours and a new starter motor later and we were off.

The pilot managed to shave 50 minutes off the flight so we ended up only being 1 hour 10 minutes late. Ground staff had already rebooked those with connecting flights.

No drinks were offered but to be fair, I didn't ask for one.
