I actually found the lounge offerings at the Sheraton superior to the one at Westin during the happy hour. At first the Westin appeared to have more items on offer, but they are all plated in very small portions and disappear very quickly – i.e. you end up bringing to your table four plates/bowls, with a tiny piece of food on each one, finish them all with a bite each and return to get more and notice that they are all empty and you need to wait for the kitchen to bring out a fresh set out.

At the Sheraton, you do not hv as many choices, but they are generously laid out, and you can take however many pieces of whatever you want onto your plate. They are also replenished a lot quicker too. Not sure if it is in light of the ‘eat well’ slogan that the Westin has, but I found the eating during the happy hour more frustrating than satisfying. Just my two cents.

Having said that, the made to order afternoon high-tea are fantastic at the Westin.
