So I am standing in regular security check line today but how do I know if I got tsa pre or not? I thought my GE got me expedited pass through the security.

Ps - I don't have AA status. Hope I didn't get played by AA agent (can they?).
I always print a paper BP and scan the bar code the day before I travel so I know whether or not I get the 3 beeps. If you know you can get thru the TSA Pre Check lane prior to leaving for the airport, you won't have to arrive so early and you won't have to be disappointed that you didn't get the 3 beeps. I've used this method about 5 times in the last 2 or 3 months (with multiple carriers) and it works every time so far. Hope that helps.
