Flew Brussels Airlines twice in the last week LHR-BRU-LHR, and was wondering why although my A3 number was mentioned on my boarding card, there was no mention of my *A gold status.

I found this very inconvinient as this means I had no access to the priority lanes at security at BRU (which are opened by scanning your BP).

I approached the checkin agent yesterday, and was given the following explanaition: That the Brussels Airlines system does not recognise Aegean gold members as *A gold.

Has anybody else had a similiar experience with a different airline?
My instict feelings are warning me that there is serious trouble ahead for Aegean golds
