Had a 2 night stay last week. Booked with 48 hour sale, $112/night. Used confirmed suite upgrade to reserve an Executive suite, which came with separate room # adjoining bedroom. In Bldg 26, quite a hike from RC. Chose a fruit + cheese platter for amenity; should have gotten the points as fruit was 2 pcs of dried pineapple! (I should contact HGP to see if I can get the points as amenity was largely inedible). At check in, was informed that RC was getting a new floor, so our first breakfast would be at restaurant and 2 comped beverages in fireside bar. We chose the buffet; in retrospect should have gotten cooked to order breakfast. But a nice upgrade from continental. 2nd morning we had RC breakfast and it was fine. PM reception was OK, nothing special. Sat outside since one large family (and I mean large...) took up entire RC. Both patio heaters were out of propane but were promptly replaced and fired up upon request. Staff was friendly and as a Diamond treated me extremely well. Hotel was noisy with spring break families using pool & shuffleboard all day long. Bill was delivered by RC attendant but had to go to front desk to remove an errant charge. $10/night resort fee as mentioned earlier. Not a bad stay, and certainly worth $ paid. Just not a great stay.
