If it makes any difference then it would be a Hotel Indigo in the United Kingdom which would be of particular interest.
Usual apologies if this question is already answerred elsewhere; basic searches on both PriorityClub.com and in this forum yielded no definitive answer.
SPG and Hyatt are the only chains that you can earn points w/o being a guest. Of course, if you have the credit card and there is a point multiplier for IHG spends, you may get lucky and have the spend coded for the credit card company as a hotel expense and thereby get additional points, but IHG, itself, will not award you points, as well and certainly no stay credit.
The only way you might get credit is for the hotel to set up some sort of dummy booking whereby all food and bev expenses will be funneled to the non-existent room and they permit you to do that, but I doubt they will do this.
