It's called Murphy's Law and here's how it works:
If you get to the gate early: the flight will be delayed and you'll stand around the gate for well over an hour.
If you get to the gate even 20 seconds late: Group 6 will have already boarded, and the jetbridge will be jam-packed with people, and don't even dream about finding any overhead bin space.
Don't forget the one day you are slightly late to the airport and the security line is wrapping around the building.
