Of course as always just because you are told something by a customer service rep, that doesn't mean it's true.

That is why I read these forums. Usually the Credit Card Programs and Miles Buzz forums are more accurate than the customer service reps.
So what I am hearing is that it would probably go through as a regular transaction if I entered my pin on a chip and signature card, but there are no guarantees. Sounds about right.
