The standard cruise commission is 17% plus other perks for most travel agents on cruises. You are touting a $300 credit and a champagne bubbles as an offset to an annual fee.
I have found you can do much better using almost any other travel agent. I tthink you would be shocked to find out how much less someone has paid for the same cabin type than booking via Amex.
