One of my twice a year trips involves 5 hour transit at Changi (FUK/SIN/SYD) similar to your condition, and I can easily spend five hours without any problems. What I usually do is to catch a skytrain from T3 to T2 and walk back. You can drop by many gardens and etc.
I think Changi is very nice airport and you can do so many things, and you can find quite area (you can be almost by yourself). I think it is really up to you how you would like to spend.

Do not worry too much and just enjoy.

Thank you very much. And thanks

Yep saw the singapore international website but not in full perspective but the map doesn't say (here are the rest rooms) here are the washrooms or shower rooms. SO its unusual they wont put icons on the map to know where are what around.

I would never step out the door from the airport as i may not have visa or such. I was told to remain indoors at the airport by all means. I mean im only in singapore to change my next long haul flight bounce to europe in 5 hours later.

Thats why i was like as soon as i hop off the qantas plane and landed in singapore airport.. I might obviously go around looking at shops.. defently find a toilet to begin with. And then maybe eat something lite ? And a cold or coffee ? And then make a few calls.. But all this will go quite quickly. I still have 5 hours remaining for the next flight.

So i dnt want to step outside and go thru all sorts of security and issues along the way. However i will aventually find my way to showers... if they are not far from terminals. Might need singapore money if i need to pay. I mean if all i want to do is take a shower fix my hair all that only takes less then 1 hour and then im out of that area and back to the terminals and wait endless hours.

Why catch a tram from terminal to terminal ? is it that really far from terminals all together to even walk across it ?

First off the plane. I dont have no luggage to get because my luggage will be taken care all the way to europe if not mistaken. I will have amy carry on bag and another bag with me. I will then walk around the airport maybe see shops? maybe eat something and defently make important family calls on a public phone with a international calling card. And then... perhaps find that shower room. I mean how far is the shower room from terminals i think i be getting off terminal1 in singapore. Then back to terminal 1 again to catch my next flight. So pretty much terminal 1.

Do i have to go thru security and all or is there shops and everything obove the terminals ? just dont want to go all thru confusing situations. Im not in singapore for holidays only remain at airport for next flight.

However i ehard singapore airport is quite big. But its not like i would requier a ride to the other end of the hall.
