Hey thanks all, guess I will just have to go see them in person before making a decision, I really don't have the disposable income to make an error on this one so either it will come down to a 26 or the 29" model, like I said above I have a 29-30" American tourister softside that I am conflicted on, part of me likes the space it allows for, the other side knows I have a tendency to pack it to the brim and on a couple of occasions it was over which stunk, whereas my wife has a 27" vera Bradley piece that seems like a very manageable size.
