Good point, so although a 747 might be 'replaced' by a 787 in reality the 787 would go to Gatters with a 777 moving back to Heathrow to do what the 747 was doing.

I think it's clear the 787 is part of a large refresh of the fleet of which the 747s are some of the first to go, it doesn't mean the end result will be less seats, it should be more seats and more destinations with a more flexible fleet.
