IMHO Etihad F is superb. For me the most important things (in order) are the quality and comfort of the hard product (seat and suite), the quality of the catering and wine, and the quality of the entertainment.

I think the majority of complaints come from folks who frankly kind of like the ego massage they get from the SQ flight attendants. I like that too, but I don't need it to enjoy my flight in F. I far prefer EY F over SQ 777 FF given the suite is in a different league, the food is just as good if not better and same for entertainment. Service may not be so doting but I really don't care as long as it's polite and efficient, which IME it has been

I would never hesitate to fly EY F or J or recommend to anyone else
