I find it quite disappointing that the Netherlands has one of the highest costs for the Plat card - €700 is ridiculously high compared to other countries.
Dutch consumers don't earn more than Germans (they actually earn less) - so the price is no logical to me.

Perhaps the only explanation would be that Dutch people are more tolerant to being negatively financially discriminated.
