FWIW, the Shinsei PowerDirect account has a 2,000,000 JPY per day withdrawal limit. This was quite convenient when I initially moved to Japan and before I got a JPY credit card; at one point I used the full allowance to buy some furniture rather than eat a big forex fee on my GBP card.
