I'm through the UA gates in LAX 1x or 2x per month, usually in T7, and I have seen hide nor hair of these mythical smoking patios. I landed in T6 this week and saw absolutely nothing that would lead me to believe that they exist. Oh, how I'd love to be proven wrong.

The now closed smoking patio in T6 was just past the restrooms as you headed into the "rotunda portion"/on the left hand side as the walkway slopes down and diagonally opposite the United Club
