Oh my gosh... are you kidding me! I knew that Chase would close reward accounts if they are perk abuse. This case is really weird. I really dont have good feeling to keep a lot points with Chase. My suggestion is that we should always transfer our points out for safety.
Perhaps there is a lesson here. Better to transfer excess UR to your airline, hotel accounts to avoid situation like this. Chase would have a much harder time getting it back from FF/Hotel accounts.
I am very happy that I am lucky with all my points that I transferred out. So sad to hear your situation.
