The biggest disservice domestic airlines did to F-class travelers was way back in the 80s when they decided that removing one seat from a seven-seat row to design first class was the same as removing two seats from a six-seat row.
Anyday you want to trade me your sleeper seat for my F, I'll trade you. ^

Many domestic 767's have flatbeds today. Less F seats yes, but much much better.
