You could go another half hour up the coast and stay at either the Port Hueneme or Ventura locations and be in walking distance of a really nice beach. Although both of those properties have seen better days.

There is also a Radisson near LAX that you could hit on your way out if you have a morning flight. Radisonn downtown (near USC), while not in a great neighborhood, would be better situated for the LA tourist attractions. There is also Buena Park, right near Disneyland but not near Hollywood.

- planning to stay Radisson Chatsworth and Country Inn & Suites Calabasas, any feedback, how is the hotel and stuff?
- is advanced purchase rate eligible for BNG offer, or do i need to book a regular rate room?
- will stay 2 nights at Country Inn and 1 night in Radisoon, have parents with me, so will book 2 rooms, 1 with my account and the other with my wife's account
- any experience with these 2 properties to get BRG, is it easy to find the lower rate on other sites to file BRG?

thanks in advance for all the feedback.
I've been in CI Calabasas and Radisson @ LAX in August 2012;
CI is a good hotel, firendly staff, nice rooms (CI style!), the location was very nice for me because i was using to reach malibu, zuma beach etc. in 15', and it's located in a nice neighborhood on the LA hills (very nice in summer), i loved that place, really! i think it's underrated, and is a very good location, firthermore you're very near at the highway, and you can go to the opposite part of LA within 30'! i really suggest it if you want to go to the beach and have relax!

about Radisson LAX: overrated on TA, very expensive, nice staff but not so friendly, hotel that needs absolutely a refurbishment, especially the suite at the top floor! it's perfect if you have a flight from LAX in the early morning because they provide a free bus transfer to the apt, but you can reach it within 3 min walk!
furthermore, the car parking would cost 25-35$ per day and you have NO possibility of free parking within 3 miles! i do not suggest it, except if you have to fly from LAX!

finally, there's a Radisson near the studios (if i correctly remember), maybe it would be easy for you to take that one!
