I was at LAX (UA, T6, 7, & 8) every Saturday evening in January and I asked one of the LEO's at their desk (as I do every time before I head out for a smoke) if there was any place to smoke airside and was told "no, not since the smoking patio in T-6 was closed" so either the LEO or the pdf is wrong
but I will report back on April 27 as I'm passing thru LAX that day
I'm through the UA gates in LAX 1x or 2x per month, usually in T7, and I have seen hide nor hair of these mythical smoking patios. I landed in T6 this week and saw absolutely nothing that would lead me to believe that they exist. Oh, how I'd love to be proven wrong.
